Name: Cole (13) Montague
Age: 17
Birthday: 11 January 1999
Species/Race: Human
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Role: Student
Class: High School
Grade: 12 grade
Previous Home: The United Kingdom
Biography:
Praying and hoping for a child they could put their dreams into, her parents were overjoyed to witness, at the slender age of 4, Cole rolling around in fits of giggles with a ‘dog’ that became quite clear was not apparent to the normal human eye. A dog that had in fact been called Scooby until last year when it had been hit by a speeding car outside the Montague household whilst Cole was playing in the garden. That was the first time her dear estranged parents (who were naturally scientists) had recognised her as ‘gifted’. After that, she became her parents test subject and was forced to live a cyclical life of cruel experiments, punishments in ‘the hole’ for refusing to take part, and being referred to by all of the staff as “test subject 13”.
That was of course until her parents became victim to a terrible yet oddly mysterious murder one night when everyone except Cole was sleeping. Freedom came with lots of perks, but also downfalls. Where would she go? Who would look after her? Cole had never lived a moment of her life without rules and regulations so how was she now expected to survive on the streets of London Alone? Then one day, through the whispers of the streets, she came to hear about St. Juno Academy.
Reason for enrolling at St. Juno Academy:
After hearing through the grapevine about the mysterious St. Juno Academy that seemed to house ‘gifted’ students, Cole became determined to seek it out and learn more about her ‘ability’, which she had become to regard as more of an infliction. Maybe applying to the Academy would give her the closure that was well needed so she could control and hopefully even improve her skills. It wouldn’t hurt to try.
Appearance:
Falling at around 5ft10, Cole offered a unique experience to behold. With a shaved head that could only be the result of years of cruel experiments in the hands of her parents and a face that held the years of pain she’s been put through, Cole could fit in with the weirdo’s and misfits any day. Perhaps the most astounding feature about her face was the striking blue eyes that seemed not to fit in with the dark stubble of hair growing back on her head. They were eyes that seemed to stare right into the soul. She was not a girl that many people would find attractive, neither did she try to be, and in most public cases being mistaken for a boy was an hourly occurrence (this did not upset her however, on the contrary she was quite flattered). Her clothing supported the mistaken identity, sporting her trusty leather biker jacket she had found in a bin everywhere, some ripped jeans and her favourite fingerless cycling glove- she was not surprised when she was addressed as ‘sir’ by strangers.
Personality:
One could not say Cole was a particularly ‘happy’ person. She was not mean, or rough or a bully… she just didn’t like people very much. Choosing to stay in the shadows, she was a listener, she knew many peoples dark secrets and although would never spill any of them, it gave her a sense of power over people. However, this does not mean she can’t form tight friendships, quite the opposite actually. Cole loved with all her heart and deep down, all she wanted was to have some who really cared about her. A friend. Though at first she might appear brash and harsh, this was only a wall she had built to protect herself, and deep down underneath the sarcasm lied a soft personality. Though emphasis deep own.
Powers:
Coles powers include being able to see, speak and interact with dead people. She cannot yet control the power and therefore is not able to stop when see she’s them or drown them out. This proves to be very tricky at times!
